We would like to welcome the homeowners to this section of the new Paramont website.

Our intent is to keep you up-to-date on the nature trail, and the quarry, and to address any issues or problems that might arise.

The nature trail sustained some major damage over the winter, with both the wind storm and the ice storm contributing to large treefall areas across the trail. Using volunteers,we have been able to clear the trail for usage, and while there is much work ahead, we feel the trail is functional. Of note, where the trail branches off to the east, and to the west, of the main trail, we have been advised by Jim Brown that those sections are no longer available to the homeowners, or the public.

On the quarry side, we have put out some information in the form of flyers, asking homeowners to be cognizant of chemical usage around the quarry and the pond.

Some studies are being done, and we are organizing work days to help clean up some areas that need attention.

We feel that both the quarry and the trail are valuable assets, and deserve our attention and our care. We are working to preserve both ecosystems, and ask that everyone respect the intrinsic beauty of both of these resources.
